Bithiri Sathi to Save extincting Languages – V6


It is well known that there are 22 scheduled languages and 100 non-scheduled languages in the country which are spoken by a large number of people. A list prepared by UNESCO has revealed that there are over 40 languages in India which are considered to be endangered. It is said that there is a threat of extinction of these dialects as only a few thousand people speak them. Comedian Bithiri Sathi has tried to highlight this issue and looking out for options to save the endangered languages.
